Chilled stone delivery temperature approx. 6 - 8 degrees above the delivered chilled water temperature.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

  • energy savings 30 – 50 % less energy compared to concrete cooling with ice

Coldrock Heat Exchanger - CHE

The ColdRock heat exchanger is a 3 stage water to water heat exchanger utilising the clients existing chiller to provide the chilled water as the cooling medium.

The system is designed for handling and chilling heavily silted & warm water from the HydroSpiral with total cooling plate capacity approx. 550kw*. The water from the HydroSpiral enters the heat exchanger warm and dirty and is pumped back to the HydroSpiral cold and dirtry in a closed loop design. Dirty water temperature is reliant on the supply chilled water temperature with dirty water return temperatures of 7-15deg C possible.

Coldrock Dirty Water Chiller - CDWC

The ColdRock Dirty water chiller is a self-contained 3 stage dirty water ammonia chiller with rated capacity 550kw*.

The system is designed for handling and chilling heavily silted & warm water from the HydroSpiral with total cooling plate capacity approx. 550kw*. The water from the HydroSpiral enters the heat exchanger warm and dirty and is pumped back to the HydroSpiral cold and dirtry in a closed loop design. Dirty water return temperatures of 1-5deg C possible

Containerized Coldsilo - CCS55

The ColdRock CCS55 is a 55ton capacity containerised aggregates storage silo.

The silo is installed with 2 stage dewatering the first being a static sieve cone and the second a dynamic dewatering screen/shaker table. Post cooling is available through sprinkling of the chilled aggregates with chilled water to maintain cold aggregates temperatures indefinitely. Aggregates are discharged from the silo though a pneumatically operated discharge gate to either an extraction conveyor or to a chute for wheel loader feeding.

Coldsilo incl. Weighing - CWS40

The ColdRock CWS40 is a 40ton capacity containerised aggregates storage silo with internal 2000kg aggregates weighing hopper**. The internal aggregates weigher in the silo is connected directly to the mixing plant batch controller appearing as an extension to the existing mixing plant as an additional weigh bin.

The silo is installed with 2 stage dewatering the first being a static sieve cone and the second a dynamic dewatering screen/shaker table. Post cooling is available through sprinkling of the chilled aggregates with chilled water to maintain cold aggregates temperatures indefinitely. Aggregates are discharged from the silo though a pneumatically operated discharge gate to a delivery conveyor bringing the cold & weighed aggregates to the clients existing inclined belt which brings the material directly to the mixer.

The ColdRock CWS80 is a larger 80ton capacity modular aggregates storage silo with internal 2000kg aggregates weighing hopper**. Placement and installation options

Strategic positioning of construction equipment directly impacts workflow efficiency. The HydroSpiral system requires two 40-foot high cube containers, stacked vertically. Feed hoppers, as well as delivery and extraction conveyors, are separate units that can be flexibly configured to navigate specific jobsite constraints.
